Hello new week! My weekend was lovely and relaxing and it was really hard to go back to a regular work schedule yesterday! Here's a few things that made me happy over the weekend:
I went vinyl! I found The Secret Sisters record and couldn't pass it up - this was the band that opened for Nickel Creek in May and I fell in love after hearing them live. Maybe it's just me, but dang they sound better on vinyl than on anything else (except live!) ;) Now I just have to find a record player... // finally started reading Longbourn by Jo Baker - a "downstairs" telling of Pride and Prejudice // bought my first Grainline Studio pattern - the Tiny Pocket Tee! I made up a muslin (even though this one is really easy!) to see how the fit was and I only have a couple tweaks to make. Once I find some fabric I think this piece will be a wardrobe staple, it's so well done! // Making up some summery friendship bracelets from this Purl Bee tutorial - I love the colors of the knotting cord they recommended and these come together super fast!
Hope your week is off to a great start!
